BYU begins full workouts on Jan. 27 when the Cougars can practice two hours a day. NCAA rules have limited teams to individual skill instruction the past two weeks.<br />

“I like our focus and how we have competed,” said BYU coach <a href="/staff/m-baseball/vance-law">Vance Law</a>. “Our 'plus one' slogan has been a good motivator for everyone giving extra effort. Team Coin for 2012 Fri, 16 Dec 2011 21:32:10 +0000 <p>For the eighth year BYU baseball players will be carrying a team coin with them at all times.</p>
<p>The Cougar baseball players were each given the coin they earned at the annual Christmas party in December.</p>

Day 6: Royals/Beach Sat, 26 Nov 2011 03:04:53 +0000 <p><font size="2"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Today was our last game of the series in the D.R. We left the hotel at 8:00 a.m., for the Royals' compound. However, we weren't expecting the delay we encountered. We were on two buses, the first carrying a trailer full of the baseball equipment. The road we were traveling on was a dirt/clay road and with all the rain they've been getting, it was extremely muddy. Needless to say, the road won. The team had to unhook the trailer and push the bus back onto the road. Day 5: Red Sox/Thanksgiving Fri, 25 Nov 2011 03:47:12 +0000 <p><font size="2"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We got on the bus at 8:00 a.m., and drove for about 40 minutes to the DR Red Sox complex. They have nice facilities with a couple of fields and dormitories for the players. Today felt like the hottest day so far that we've had since being here. We aren't quite sure what the temp was, but it had to be in the 90s at least. Coupled with the humidity, the players were drenched in sweat within minutes. Hot day, but a great one because we won, 16-2. Notre Dame Baseball Clinics Originally Sold Out, But Spots Now Available Due To High Demand Thu, 26 Jan 2012 09:38:22 EST Second-year head baseball coach Mik Aoki has announced the release of some additional spots for the 2012 Notre Dame Baseball Youth Winter Hitting Clinic and Winter Development Clinic. Both clinics will take place on Jan. 28, Feb. 4 and Feb. 11 at Notre Dame's indoor hitting facility at Frank Eck Stadium. The Feb. 4 and Feb. 11 clinics quickly sold out, but the Irish coaching staff will allow limited overflow into the 4:30-6:00 p.m. ET time slot due to the high demand of each clinic.
